Adults should have a comprehensive eye exam every 1-2 years, or annually if you're over 60, have diabetes, or wear glasses/contacts. Children should have their first eye exam by age 3-5, then every 1-2 years unless otherwise recommended. Your optometrist may suggest more frequent visits based on your individual eye health needs.
Please bring your current glasses, contact lenses (and case), and a list of any medications you're taking. Also bring your insurance card and a form of identification. If you have previous eye exam records or prescriptions, these can be helpful for comparison.
Optomap is a wide-field digital imaging system that captures a detailed, panoramic view of your retina in seconds. This non-invasive technology allows us to see up to 80% of your retina in a single image, helping detect eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration early. The scan is quick, comfortable, and doesn't require eye dilation.
No, the OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) scan is completely painless and non-invasive. You simply look into the machine while it takes detailed cross-sectional images of your retina using light waves. The entire process takes just a few seconds and feels similar to having a regular photograph taken.
Whether you’re new to contact lenses or need a specialist solution, our expert optometrists will find the perfect fit for your eyes and lifestyle.
